This is an urgent wake-up call to all who do not know Jesus Christ and have not accepted him as their personal Lord and Savior, as well as those who have turned away from having a personal relationship with him. The apostle Paul says these words in 2nd Timothy chapter 3:1 “THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Perilous times are here, and our only ark of safety is in the arms of the one who died on the cross to save us from the invisible evil around the world. Jesus says these words in Revelation chapter 3:20; “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”
Mathew 24:21-22 reads: “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now - and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.” We already see the escalation of violence all around the world, the love of many are growing colder and colder, not to mention the fear of the hearts of many as well. The only escape for any of us is Jesus, he stands at the door of our hearts, knocking and admonishing us to open and let him in.
With all the devastation going on around the world, NOW, is the time to repent, especially as we see the disasters around the world continue to climb and come to pass. Death tolls are climbing around the world as we see the outbreak of the latest plague, called the Coronavirus, showing us that we must urgently run to Jesus and accept him as our personal Lord and Savior. Domestic terrorism in different parts of the country, as well as climate change, is also causing the escalation of earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, and tornadoes to increase around the world, showing us what Jesus said in Mathew chapter 24, coming to pass.
In Luke chapter 21:8-11 Jesus says: And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass: but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers’ places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” Jesus tells us not to be terrified, yet we see many terrified. This is the reason, Jesus says, Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. He does not want us to be afraid of the devastation going on around the world, because he is standing at the doors of our hearts, his arms are open ready to embrace us and keep us safe from the invisible evil around the world. Through repentance and faith in him, he will shield and protect us from the evil going on, around the world.
"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." Is our earnest prayer.
