The power of words

The power of words:

The word of God came to earth in the flesh in the form of Jesus Christ, as stated in John chapter 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Our words have power, whatever people think about is what people speak. This is the reason people need to be careful of what they think about, and the words that come out of their mouth. Proverbs 18:20-21 reads: A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” In Mathew chapter 15:19-20 Jesus says: “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defile not a man.”
In these last days Satan is using fear tactics through negative words spewed out by television as well as radio and other forms of media to deceive and manipulate the thoughts of those who believe his lies. He is the master deceiver. The word of God says: Men’s hearts will fail them for fear because of those things they see coming upon the earth. In this year 2020, men and women as well as children are afraid of what they see coming upon the earth. This is a wakeup call straight from the Lord. He is not playing; this is the reason he’s calling for repentance. The world is in a spiritual battle, and those of us who are saved and sanctified and covered by his blood will be saved from the calamity coming upon the world. Those of us who have truly accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, he died on the cross at Calvary, shedding his blood to cleanse us from all our sins. There are many who are being used by Satan and now is the time to denounce him and all the evil he stands for, he cares nothing about humanity because humanity is the Lord God’s creation. It’s not Gods will that we as his creation perish as stated in John chapter 3:16-21 which reads: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world: but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not on him is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh into the light lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

We are living in perilous times; the coronavirus pandemic has caught many off guard, and their hearts are failing them because of the fear of the unknown. They are confused, because they don’t know what the future holds. The only true solution during this pandemic is to run to the Lord God. Jesus is standing at the door of our hearts, knocking, he wants to come in and deliver those who are hurting. In Revelation chapter 3:20 Jesus says: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.” We are living at a critical time, as we see the word of God being fulfilled. In Mathew chapter 24:21-22 Jesus says: For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now - and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.” This is the reason we need to call out to the Lord God for help. Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with each one of us. He died on the cross to deliver us from our sins. as stated in John 3:16 which reads: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Our Lord God knows our hearts, he knows the heartache and pain many are suffering from, during these days of distress, this is the reason Jesus is standing at the door of our hearts, knocking. He wants to come in and take away the pain. In Mathew chapter 11:28-30 Jesus says: “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burdens are light.” Those who are contemplating committing suicide, this is what the word of God says about suicide, which is self-murder. Exodus 20:13 we read: Thou shalt not kill. Revelation chapter 21:8 we read: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Because God created each one of us in his image, we belong to him and he is not willing that anyone perish, but that all have eternal life. His desire is to save us all from spending eternity in a burning hell, and to be saved and spend eternity in heaven with him, his Son Jesus Christ as well as our friends and loved ones. To all who feel lost and full of distress, Jesus is our ark of safety, calling on the name of Jesus and asking him to save us, will rescue us from the heartache and distress many are suffering from. We are in a spiritual battle, the word of God says, in Ephesians 6:10-18 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against* flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto** with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Because we are in a spiritual battle, the mind is where the battle is. Satan uses many devices to attack the mind of those who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Our safety net is in the arms of Jesus. The battle is in our thoughts, this is the reason we need to do what the apostle Paul says in Romans chapter 12: 2 which reads: Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” So you see, we have two choices, to live for Christ and have eternal life, or to die and spend eternity in hell without Christ. In Mark chapter 8:36-37 Jesus asks the question; “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his own soul?”
We all come into this world with nothing and when we leave this world, we shall take nothing out. Only what we do for Christ will last, Philippians chapter 1: 21 reads: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” The life we live on this earth is a vapor of smoke, it is temporary, and with so many people dying day by day, they are spending eternity either in heaven or hell. We are sent here by God to work for him or to work for the devil, the choice is ours. A judgment day is coming and when we leave this life, we all will have to give an account of the works we do while we are in our body. The apostle Paul gives us an example of the works done while in the body in 1st Corinthians 3:1-22 which reads: And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither* yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I* am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but* ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are laborers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. According to the grace of God, which is given unto me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defiles the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's. "The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace." Is our earnest prayer.

If you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and you want to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior...pray the following prayer with us.
