Fear is not of God

by | |

There are many who are living a life of fear, because of the racism and police brutality going on around the country. Jesus says these words about fear in Isaiah chapter 41:10 “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” All those who come against the innocent without a cause will have to reap what they sow. They think they are getting away with the senseless murder they are committing, but one thing I believe is that our God sees and knows all things, because he is omnipresent, everywhere at the same time. He will not allow those who commit these atrocities get away with it. The blood of each victim is crying out for justice and their cries are being heard by our Lord God. The word of God says these words in Revelation chapter 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” God is not playing. In Galatians chapter 6:7-8 the word of God also says, Be, not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to the flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption. Unless we all repent, we will not see God, without repentance no man shall see God. We must also ask him to forgive us, as well as forgive those who have done us wrong in any way. This is for our own healing, not for those who have done us wrong. We must then continue to move forward in God's will for our lives and abide in our calling. Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ loves each one of us and he delights in those of us who place all our trust completely in him. Through faith in him we can overcome all the evil in this world and those who want to use fear tactics to destroy our faith in our heavenly Father. Our faith in him gives us a reason to cling tighter to him. During these evil times we need to trust in him and hold on to his promise that he will never leave nor forsake us. Guns will not keep us safe from all harm, only our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ will. Psalms 91:1-16 read He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely, he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. John 3:16-21 reads: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither* cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” Because we are living in the last days and the door of repentance is closing on those who claim to be true Christians, but know deep within their hearts they have abandoned our Lord and turned back to living a life of sin and iniquity. Jesus says, return to your first love in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 as he addresses the sins that was committed by the seven churches in Asia. Only those who repent and return to him will make it into the kingdom of heaven. God help us all is our deepest prayer.

We pray this is a blessing to the readers and hearers of this post.
