A Time of Distress

by | |

Good morning friends,

We are blessed to see this beautiful day our Heavenly Father have made. To all those who are living a life of fear as they see a world full of violence and unrest. In Mathew chapter 11:28-30 Jesus says: “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burdens are light. We are living in the last days, and the love of many are growing colder, now is the time to turn away from living a life of sin, and run into the arms of our heavenly Father. Jesus shed his blood for every person on the earth. There are those suffering from a spirit of fear as they see a world full of chaos and turmoil. We must know that we are living in the last days, this is the reason we as God’s people need to repent for all our sins. Jesus is standing at the door of our hearts, knocking, those of us who open the doors of our hearts, will let him in. As he says in Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” We must take heed to what Jesus is saying here in Revelation chapter 3:20, because once this life is over it will be too late to heed the call. Our heavenly Father desires each of his children to make it into the kingdom of heaven, but there are those who will not listen to his still small voice, when he knocks on the doors of their hearts.

There is not one person in this world that would ever love us enough to die for all of the sins that we have ever committed, but Jesus did, he shed his blood for all our sins, and our heavenly Father knows what we have done wrong. He knows all of our thoughts, the wrestling within, and the spiritual battles that we all go through. This is the reason why we need to take heed to what Jesus says in John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Repentance is the only way of escape from a world full of darkness.

May our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ help us all.
